Leah will be discussing Molly Suber Thorpe's book, "Modern Calligraphy." Most of the book is divided into fun, accessible projects you can work on at home as DIY endeavors. However, Leah will be chatting about how you can use the first section in this book as a guide to help develop your own modern style of lettering. We'll be practicing variants on alphabets, rules, and how to bend those rules well to develop a consistent and beautiful modern calligraphy style that's uniquely your own.

Supply list: whatever nibs, ink, and guidesheets/paper you like to practice with, as well as some reference material of text (a newspaper/magazine article, book, or anything else with text in it).
